No bad apples at The Rose and Crown, Knutsford

We were on our way back from Chester Zoo, thinking of somewhere to stop off… “Why do they call it the historic town of Knutsford” asked my Mum… “I have no idea” said Dad, “let’s go and see”… they have this same conversation every time they drive through the town 😂

We parked up and walked up the hill and pretty much straight over the road was the Rose and Crown Inn. If you find yourself in the lovely Knutsford in Cheshire, find the Rose and Crown for comfortable, relaxed and stylish surroundings, a laid back atmosphere and very friendly staff, basically everything you could wish for! Mum had a pint of Bad Apple cider, which she said was very tasty. We didn’t have time to try the food but it did look and smell very nice indeed, so I’m sure we’ll be back soon. There are rooms if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in the area and dogs are allowed in the bar area, which means another big tick from Mum 😊

Oh by the way, we never did find out why they call it the historic town of Knutsford! Does anybody know? Please share!
